Halfling House

Tucked away in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Yosemite and Bass Lake, the whimsical Halfling House is a one-of-a-kind escape for adventurers, dreamers, and anyone looking for a little magic. This enchanting retreat blends storybook charm with modern comfort, ensuring a fun and unique vacation you won't soon forget!

• Propane BBQ grill usable year round
• Mini split heating and AC units in each bedroom and living room to ensure comfort year round
• Starlink Wifi for the modern day halfling who needs to work or catch up with the world

*Please note that during the summer and fall months, indoor fireplace is unavailable due to Madera County wood burning restrictions. Dates are subject to change per county guidelines. Since the Halfling House has a heating system, firewood is not provided but you are most welcome to bring your own or use any left over that might be at the property.

Bedding/Bath Configuration:

Main Level
Bedroom #1 with en suite bathroom (toilet and sink only)- One King Bed (sleeps 2)
Bedroom #2 with en suite bathroom (toilet, shower, and sink)- One King Bed (sleeps 2)

Loft
There is no sleeping arrangements in the loft. Loft is NOT SUITABLE for little halflings to venture up to on their own!

The home does have a few steps inside, and the shower requires a bit of caution. If you have physical limitations or restrictions, the Halfling House might not be the best option for you.
