Many of our Love Yosemite! retreats are pet friendly ones as well, but you may be wondering what you can do with your pets once you are here, and we can tell you that the answer is A LOT! We Californians love our pooches, and the list below is just some of the adventures you can enjoy when you bring the entire family along for your pet friendly Yosemite vacation of a lifetime!

Wawona Meadow Loop
Location: TUOLUMNE MEADOWS, CA 95389
The Wawona Meadow Loop is one of our favorite hikes, especially in the summer months, when the grassy meadow is filled with colorful wildflowers. It is also a pet friendly hike as long as your pet is leashed. As always, don’t forget to clean up after your pet.

Discover Yosemite
What you might not expect is a tour company that accepts your fur babies, but as long as they are gentle, leashed, and well-behaved, Discover Yosemite welcomes them. Offering full-day tours of Yosemite, their knowledgeable and personable guides will take you all on a tour of the top hotspots throughout Yosemite.

The Pine`s Resort
Your favorite Love Yosemite! retreat may be the ones inside the Pines Resort, the only resort in the area and located on the shores of Bass Lake. Even better, pets are allowed, ensuring that your entire family will be able to experience all the magic of Yosemite.

Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad
Consisting of vintage steam trains renovated to give guests a luxurious train ride through the beauty of the Yosemite countryside, the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad is also pet friendly. Bring sweet Fifi along for the ride of her lifetime and make memories that will last forever.

Big Trees Lodge Dining Room
The hotel in which the Big Trees Lodge Dining Room is located is closed at the moment, preparing to undergo repairs, but when it does reopen, visitors can rest assured that their fur children will be accepted here as well.

Idle Hour Winery and Kitchen
Is there anything finer than sipping a good wine, snacking on delicious foods, and being able to do both while your most loyal companion rests under the table at your feet? We don’t think so, and apparently neither does Idle Hour Winery and Kitchen, because they offer pet friendly tastings and meals on their patio. Formerly known as Queens Winery & Kitchen, nothing but the name has changed.

Miller`s Landing Resort
Miller’s Landing is the center of fun around here, offering boat rentals, delicious restaurants, fun events, and even serving as a stunningly beautiful wedding venue, with most of the places allowing dogs, so you can continue your fun with your favorite fur children.
