Cooking with Wine
There are a few rules to cooking with wine, and our favorite is the one that states, "If you wouldn't drink it, why would you cook with it?" Especially since California (Napa Valley to be more precise) is known for its wine! You want the best, and because wine is best served at the correct temperature, our kitchens quite often offer wine refrigerators to ensure that no wine is served lukewarm. Another popular rule of wine is the sip for you and the glug for the dish you are creating, and we doubt that we have to explain that to our wine connoisseurs. Cooking with wine (both in your food and in your glass) is just more fun you can have in our fully equipped kitchens, many of which offer windows over the sink that will let you look out over the Yosemite landscape.

After wine, games, moonlight, and laughter, you may find it hard to keep your eyes open, but that's ok. Our bedrooms offer yet another chance to experience more luxury amenities, amenities that may include fireplaces in the primary suites, private balconies with stunning views, and sitting areas that are most civilized, offering the perfect spots to sip your first coffee of the day or your last glass of wine of the night while discussing all the wonderful things you have seen and done each day. En suite baths may offer deep soaking tubs and/or steam showers, and fluffy towels that feel soft against your skin and wrap nicely around your body. This vacation isn't the gym class of your youth, and we understand that people feel more comfortable with large towels, not the handkerchiefs that Ms. Martin in 3rd period PE insisted were fine!
