It is hard to put in words how good this place was. Absolutely a beautiful home, with some amazing details. Probably the best designed and equipped kitchen we ever had in a rental place. We were cooking and backing, all you could think of was there. The hosts had honestly thought of everything. Beautiful snow white bedding, for all beds, plenty of extra pillows and bedding in every room , all same white towels. We were a party of 10 , we had some great time , enjoyed every corner of the home and would rent again if looking in the same area. Thank you to Gaylin and Adam.
I had a wonderful stay at Gailyn and Adam’s place! The property was absolutely beautiful — the views were stunning and made for the perfect peaceful getaway. It’s a quiet and serene location, ideal for anyone looking to relax and unwind. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Gailyn and Adam were fantastic hosts — friendly, responsive, and respectful of privacy. I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
Location is amazing, all went great, the hot tub is a super perk, laundry machine is great too. House is super spacious, clean, modern and equipped for everything you'd need. A++, would definitely come back.
We loved the Cabin. My kids said it was the “best house ever”!! Wawona is such a great way to experience Yosemite and this house was everything it promised to be & more. We discovered the swim hole on this side of the Merced this visit and Adam & Gailyns house is very nearby which is great to note for people with little kids who don’t want to drive to the valley everyday and just have a quieter water filled day. We stayed on the other side of the River last June for a week and this location was new to us. So glad we took a chance. The place is a must stay experience. We rode at the Wawona stables again, loved getting ice cream & snacks from the general store & still spent plenty of time in the Valley. It was so awesome to come home to a jacuzzi and spacious comfortable home with beautiful showers & scenery. We were extra excited to discover a little creek running adjacent to the property right next to the spa. Overall amazing Yosemite experience. Great hosts!!
The Cub House was everything we hoped and more! It was very well stocked in the kitchen as far as pots and pans, utensils, mixing bowls, etc for cooking. We were there for the wedding of our son and I cooked one meal for the entire wedding party at the cabin which was delivered to their cabins individually and I was very pleased with the basic kitchenware. It was very peaceful, had plenty of room, was able to be nice and cool with the A/C, washer and dryer worked well. The king mattress was very comfortable, there was nice seating, trash receptacles were close. Even came with a pack-n-play and high chair for my grandchildren. Also after staying, found out the location is very central to all the main Yosemite locations. Would love to stay again!
This is one of the most beautiful Airbnb homes I've ever stayed in. The home had a magnificent view of Bass Lake, the jacuzzi was phenomenal, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the items we needed for cooking and the place felt super cozy and welcoming. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. My family and I loved staying here and if we ever visit Bass Lake again, we will definitely rebook this home!
Our family had a wonderful stay! We had four generations staying together and it was perfect for the great grandparents as well as the little ones. We were able to enjoy the outdoor areas to the fullest. We were able to cook big family meals, play games and just enjoy time together with beautiful surroundings. Any questions we had, were promptly answered.
Beautiful location overseeing the mountains. Plentiful space and activities to do in the cabin if staying during a rainy day. Close to Yosemite, Bass Lake, or local casinos if you wanted to get out. Incredibly comfortable home with great amenities. Highly recommend staying in this home.
Oh my gosh where do I begin! This accommodation was just what we needed. The place was nestled in a peaceful area surrounded by trees. The views, especially from the hot tub were gorgeous! The hosts were incredibly responsive. The attention to detail was chefs kiss. As a nurse, finding a place to sit back and relax is really important to me. I’m happy to say, we hope to back soon! We hope to bring some of our friends as well! The hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Also we appreciated the welcome guide—super helpful! Definitely recommend!
We truly enjoyed our stay at Gailyn and Adam's home. The home was spacious and the grounds were peaceful. The kitchen and living room were especially enormous and perfect for cooking and gathering. The hosts were very responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend staying here!
The Cub House was truly a home away from home. Conveniently located inside the park’s south entrance helped us avoid going in and out and long wait times at the entrances. Our family of 9 (7 adults, 2 kids) had a comfortable space to dine together and stretch our legs after long hikes. The deck and hot tub in the patio was an added bonus that we didn’t get much chance to use. The kitchen was adequately stacked with lots of plates, bowls, and cooking essentials. It was also filled with lots of towels and extra blankets for each guest. The host was very responsive and pleasant to work with. We checked in and out with ease. We would love to come back and stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at Hibernation Hideaway! Our family felt right at home and appreciated the extra touches like board games for downtime. I highly recommend this home!
The house is an hour and half from curry village Yosemite. So we stayed at the hobbit house on our way out of town. Beautiful waterfall hike close by. We ate at wild fig for breakfast which was wonderful, especially the carrot cake (for breakfast). Best BBQ at Smokehouse 41, and wonderful dinner at Idle hour winery and kitchen. Great place!
We enjoyed our stay at Acorn Alley in Yosemite. It was just a 9 min walk from Chilnualna Falls Trail. I really loved being able to use the sauna after a day of hiking. Enjoyed some quality time with the family out on the porch with the fire pit on a chilly evening. The home had lots of games for the kiddos to play with such as corn hole and puzzles. Really loved the recommendations for things to do in the area. We were able to visit the Yosemite Sugar Pine Railroad which was only 20 min away. Thank you for making our visit to Yosemite feel like home and memorable.
Me and my friends came here for my birthday weekend and it was amazing. We enjoyed all the amenities they had to offer like the hot tub and the game room was fun as well. Everything was pretty accessible and it had all of our needs for the stay. It is nice and quiet and you have a private area which is nice and so you didn’t feel like you had surrounding neighbors but still so close to the city. Would come again next time as host were very accommodating and welcoming.
The house was perfect for our large group! Loved the game room, the backyard, the extra suite, the decor and plethora of seating options. Absolutely more than satisfied with this property! So nice that it was private but just an 8 minute drive to town for supplies.
Gailyn & Adam’s place was like a little slice of heaven! Extremely clean, all beds were comfortable, great fireplace/stove. Kitchen was large and easy for several to be in at the same time. Had absolutely everything we needed to cook our meals with. Communication with owners was amazing. Rapid response. We even lost the power one night to discover that the house had a whole house generator which clicked on within 10 seconds. It was amazing. We also had one of the kids pull the bathroom door closed without unlocking it and lo and behold above the bathroom door, there was the key to allow us to unlock the door.! They thought of everything!! We will definitely be back and recommend to friends & family!
Had a great stay in Gailyn and Adam’s space. It was about a 25 minute drive to Yosemite’s south entrance and about an 8 minute drive to restaurants and grocery stores. It was very clean & had nice views. Looked as pictured. They even had a high chair set up for my little one. Would most definitely stay again!
We had a wonderful stay at the Summit Cabin. The cabin was the perfect size for our group of 11 adults. From the open floor plan to the large deck overlooking the forest to the hot tub and the game room, there was something for everyone. It was peaceful and private but still so close to Bass Lake and not too far from Yosemite. We highly recommend this property!
We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming Hobbit House through Airbnb, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. I booked this for my husband’s birthday. It was nice to get away from reality and you definitely felt that with this home. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the unique and detailed design of the home, which made us feel like we had stepped right into a fairy tale. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights. One of the highlights was the cute hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also appreciated the excellent WiFi, which made it easy to stay connected. The kitchen was well-equipped with high-quality pots and pans, making meal preparation a joy. We had absolutely no complaints during our stay; everything was thoughtfully arranged for a perfect getaway. I highly recommend this Hobbit House to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience. We can’t wait to return for another visit!
This home was amazing with beautiful view. I also had a great time around the town of Oakhurst with really nice local restaurants. I fully recommend this home if you’re looking to have a nice vacation off work with your friends.
The house was everything we were looking for. There were trails close by, and it was about an hour to the valley floor. The amenities were everything we wanted, we enjoyed the hot tub after long days hiking, and appreciated the coffee grinder for fresh Mariposa coffee in the morning! We’d definitely recommend this place and stay here again.
